David C. Johnson, Born in Detroit, MI began studying piano at age 7. He then took up the bass guitar at age 11, playing in local Detroit Area bands until moving to Florida in 1989. Since then he has become one of S.W. Florida's premier musicians and a "first call" Bassist.
Since 2000, David has been touring with the Grammy award winning legends of New Orleans, The Neville Brothers. He is also the musical director of the Aaron Neville Quintet. Performances include Jay Leno, David Letterman, Ellen DeGeneres, Martha Stewart, The Today Show and many others to his credit. David endorses Tobias Basses and Hartke Amps.
