Here, you will find many various facts about the Indianapolis 500 to ensure that you know and understand the things that surround arriving in person.

One of the many things that people are curious about is if they are allowed to bring media devices into the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Many people enjoy capturing their memories on camera, or by recording the race on a video camera. However, many stadiums and raceways will not permit these kinds of devices. There is a rumor that flashes and other lights that emit from these devices can have devastating results if they distract the drivers. However, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway knows and understands that these are simply rumors. When you attend the Indianapolis 500, you are permitted to record the action via video camera. You are also permitted to bring standard cameras, digital cameras, and disposable cameras and take pictures of as much or as little as you like!

People who attend the Indianapolis 500 may be curious about what types of items are permitted in the speedway. There are some restrictions when it comes to glass bottles and other types of glass containers. Often, the stands are quite busy. With all the hustle and excitement in the speedway, it is common for something like a glass bottle or container to break and cause injury to others.

If you wish to bring a cooler to the speedway, it is permissible to do this. Many people bring coolers for the convenience of having the things that they want close to them. Large coolers are not permitted in the speedway due to the fact that they take up a lot of room. You may bring an assortment of items in your cooler, but you should be aware that your cooler may be inspected to ensure that there is nothing that could be a danger to other people in them. They are also checked to ensure that there are no items that are forbidden in the speedway in them, like glass bottle and glass containers.

You may include many things in your cooler when visiting the Indianapolis 500. You may bring alcohol, tobacco, food, water, and soda. If it is intended to food or hydrate you, you are permitted to bring it. It is important that you understand that there should be no illegal items carried on the premises of the speedway.

The Indianapolis Motor Speedway works very hard to ensure your safety and convenience, so it is very important that you carefully obey all the rules and regulations to ensure that everyone has a wonderful time!
