Daytona Int'l Speedway week 9 repaving update

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- The crew from Lane Construction began the most challenging aspect of the 2010 Daytona Repave on Thursday morning -- putting new asphalt on the steep 31-degree high banks of Daytona International Speedway.

One dead, another injured in DeLand plane crash

Cessna 150 crashed near International Speedway Drive and Garfield Avenue in DeLand on Saturday, officials said Two men were hospitalized and one of them later died in a single-engine plane crash in DeLand on Saturday, authorities said.
