NYC to salute Super Bowl champs Tuesday

Lower Manhattan will be solid Blue on Tuesday when the city is throwing a Giant ticker-tape parade through Broadway’s Canyon of Heroes .

The Super Bowl XLVI champion Giants arrived at Newark International Airport from Indianapolis at approximately 1:55 p.m. on Monday, and bused over to their practice facility about a half hour later, where they were greeted by fans.

Giants Return to New York After Super Bowl Win

Football fans are still savoring the Giants Super Bowl victory as the team arrived home Monday. At Newark Airport fire-hoses and bagpipes welcomed the champs back from Indianapolis. New York Giants to Commemorate Super Bowl Win With Two-State Celebration

The New York Giants will take the Super Bowl trophy on a parade up the “Canyon of Heroes” in lower Manhattan today, part of a two-state celebration of their second National Football League championship in five years.
