Indianapolis tourism officials say they expect a surge of visitors in town for the holiday weekend.

MUNCIE -- Muncie Sportsplex officials were originally hoping to make their facility bigger and better.

New hotel to boost Downtown rooms

Marriott will open in February and add more than 1,000 rooms in Downtown Indianapolis.
