NFLPA director, hotel workers to protest against Hyatt downtown

Unite Here, the hotel workers union, said some of the supporters will include Executive Director of the NFL Players Association DeMaurice Smith, Indianapolis City Council President Maggie A. Lewis and Majority Leader Vernon Brown. Hundreds of hotel workers and supporters will protest outside the Hyatt Regency Indianapolis Friday afternoon, two days before Sunday’s Super Bowl.

Hotel workers file lawsuit against staffing company, hotels

Lawyers representing hundreds of hotel workers will file a lawsuit in federal court against Hospitality Staffing Solutions and 10 major hotels for wages and hour violations. With less than a month until the Super Bowl , lawyers filed a lawsuit against 10 Indianapolis hotels and an Atlanta-based staffing company Monday.
